QUICK AND EASY SUPPER IDEAS

Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup
Try using Tuscany bread from Giant Eagle, add to your cheese a slice of deli ham and a thin slice of onion.  Use milk instead of water in the tomato soup and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.

Ham and Cheese Sandwiches
Chipped ham, one slice of Kraft American cheese, and a thin slice of onion in a hamburger bun, wrap with foil and bake at 350 for 10 minutes.  Serve with chips or Ore-Ida frozen french fries.

Spaghetti
Brown hamburger in a skillet, drain and add spaghetti sauce.  Pour over cooked spaghetti and serve with a garden salad and garlic bread.

Tilapia and Calico Corn
Rub tilapia filets with olive oil and pat with mixture of cajun seasoning and Old Bay seasoning.  Cook on counter top grill, 4-5 minutes per side.  Serve with Southwest Calico Corn.

Sloppy Joes and chips - use Manwich.

General Tsao Chicken and Shrimp Egg Rolls
Both at Wal-Mart - get shrimp egg rolls from the Deli (they are great) and General Tsao chicken from the frozen food section.  I also get frozen fried rice.  Be sure to pick up some hot Chinese mustard to dip egg rolls in.

Enchiladas and Chi-Chi's Sweet Corn Bread
Enchilada recipe is on the Old El Paso enchilada sauce can.  Serve with Chi-Chi's Sweet Corn Cake mix.

Steak and Baked Potato
Be sure to marinate your favorite steaks at least 24 hours in the refrigerator.  I use Wish-Bone Italian Salad Dressing or a mixture of olive oil, minced garlic, rosemary, dash of lemon juice, ground black pepper and salt.  Coat steaks, put in zip-lock bag and refrigerate for 24 hours (48 hours is even better!).  Bring steaks out of refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes before cooking.  Cook steaks on counter top grill or outside.  Serve with baked potato and garden salad.
