JENNIFER'S HASH BROWN CASSEROLE

2 lbs frozen hash brown (southern style)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pint sour cream
3/4 cup onion (diced)
1 stick margarine ​
1 large pkg shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup crushed potato chips
Preheat oven to 350.  Mix potatoes, soup, sour cream and onion in large bowl.  Spray large casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.  Spread mixture into casserole.  Melt butter and drizzle over top of potato mixture. Cover and cook for  1 hour 15 minutes.  Remove from oven and cover with shredded cheese. Sprinkle top with crushed chips.  Cook uncovered for an additional 1/2 hour.
